Today I got the 1970 VW onto the lift and in position for the assembly to begin. First I had to unpack all the boxes and containers to find out how many parts we have.
Wow!! There’s a lot of parts in there. I will begin sorting out the parts by location on the car so we can establish the best starting point. As of right now, I think we will get the engine in and all the lines, hoses and electrical connections done first.
Steve is going to work on the exterior trying to get the panel alignment as best we can and install the trim and weatherstripping.
We’ll just have to wait and see where we will go from there.
