1956 Buick Work Starts

This week we started the exterior tear down on the 1956 Buick. The poor old car has lots of bad paint, surface rust and pitted trim work. As work progresses on the exterior, we will be evaluating the plating and polishing needs on the old girl. Starting to assemble parts resources and comming up with a plan.

We are going to get the outside trim all removed and then start the paint removal process to fully evaluate the condition and determine the scope of work involved. Hopefully no major suprises await us in the process. Here are a few pictures of the process thus far.
