1939 Buick Progress

Last week lots of progress was made from painting the bottom, interior and firewall to starting up the engine for the 1st time. The engine fired right up and only had a few minor leaks that were quickly repaired and the engine was run for 20 minutes to properly break it in.

Here are some photos of the paint work that was completed.

Greg is priming the engine oiling system prior to the initial start up to insure proper lubrication for all the new parts that were installed during the complete rebuild.
